Super Duplex Stainless Steel Products are designed to provide superior strength, excellent corrosion resistance and excellent performance under extreme environments. Super duplex steel is a hi-tech austenitic-ferritic iron-chromium-nickel alloy containing molybdenum and high-resistance rates against stress corrosion cracking are much higher than those of typical austenitic stainless steel.
Solitaire Overseas is a reputed manufacturer and supplier of Super Duplex Steel Products in India where we have a complete line of products such as Super Duplex Steel Pipes and Tubes, Super Duplex Steel Flanges and Super Duplex Steel Fittings. We produce our products, which meet international standards and are supplied in such grades as UNS S32750, UNS S32760, and UNS S32950 to fulfill the strict industrial demands.
Super Duplex Steel is highly corrosive resistant and has outstanding mechanical strength, thereby making them ideal in onshore and offshore oil and gas that require resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride induced stress corrosion cracking. One of the applications of Super Duplex pipeline supplies is in aggressive environments which guarantees them long service life and low maintenance costs.

Super Duplex steel is the preferred material for environments where standard duplex or stainless steel fails:
Super Duplex contains higher levels of Chromium, Molybdenum, and Nitrogen, resulting in a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) greater than 40. This makes it significantly more resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion than standard Duplex.
Yes, Super Duplex has good toughness at sub-zero temperatures, although it is generally restricted to temperatures above $-50^\circ\text{C}$ to avoid the risk of brittle fracture.
It requires specific welding procedures and filler materials to maintain the 50/50 austenite-ferrite balance, but it is highly weldable with the correct technical expertise.
