UNS S32615 Tube

UNS S32615 Tube is a high-silicon stainless steel tubular product of high precision-engineered designed to be used in heat exchange, boiler and superheater service under the most harsh conditions of corrosiveness. Following the UNS S32615 Specifications, Solitaire Overseas is manufactured to both ASTM A213 and ASME SA-213 and is available in seamless form with tight dimensional tolerances and completely heat-treated.


The high silicon (4.8-6.0%) and copper (1.5-2.5) makes it highly resistant to an acid attack and its austenitic microstructure makes it very tough and weldable throughout a wide temperature span between cryogenic to 990 degC.

UNS S32615 achieves its mechanical performance through alloying and cold working. The alloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment; solution annealing at 1050–1150°C followed by water quenching is the standard heat treatment to restore optimum corrosion resistance.
