UNS S32615 Sheet

UNS S32615 Sheet is an austenitic stainless product that is a thin sheet of fabricated austenitic steel that comes in sheets in high silicon and is marketed by Solitaire Overseas as a material that is excellent in corrosion resistance in thin sheets.

As outlined in theUNS S32615 Specifications, the large silicon level in the alloy (4.860) is developed into a protective level of silica-based oxide film which is truly effective in passivating the surface against sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid intrusion. These sheets are also supplied in solution-annealed form in order to provide ideal corrosion service, and are extensively utilized in lining, chemical plant cladding, and creation of acid resistant enclosures, panels, and formed elements.
