We export to 50+ countries from Mumbai with ready stock and fast delivery.
Solitaire Overseas is an IBR approved boiler tube supplier, manufacturer and exporter based in Mumbai, India. We supply a comprehensive range of seamless boiler tubes and ERW boiler tubes in carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel grades to power plants, oil refineries, petrochemical facilities and industrial processing plants across the globe.
Boiler tubes are high-pressure, high-temperature hollow cylinders that transfer heat inside boilers, superheaters, reheaters, and economisers. They are classified into water tubes (water circulates inside, heated to produce steam) and fire tubes (hot combustion gases pass through the tube, heating the surrounding water). Our range covers both types, in all major material grades and international standards.
All our boiler tubes are manufactured to ASTM, ASME, BS 3059 and DIN 2391 standards and carry IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations) approval, a mandatory certification for all boiler tubes used in India and many export markets. We maintain ready stock of the most popular grades and sizes for fast dispatch.
We supply boiler tubing in carbon steel (SA179, SA192, SA210 A1/C, SA214, A334 Gr.1, A192), low-alloy chromium-molybdenum steel (T5, T9, T11, T12, T22, T91, T92), and stainless steel grades for special applications including superheater and reheater tubes. The grade selection depends on operating temperature, pressure, and corrosion environment.
We stock and supply all major boiler tube grades. Click any category for grade-specific specifications, dimensional charts, and to request a quote.

Seamless boiler tubes are produced by piercing a solid billet and hot or cold working it into a tube with no weld seam. They are mandated for high-pressure, high-temperature service (superheaters, reheaters, and primary steam lines) because the absence of a seam eliminates the risk of seam failure under cyclic thermal and mechanical stress. Most alloy steel grades (T5, T9, T11, T22, T91) are supplied only as seamless.
ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) boiler tubes are formed from strip and seam-welded. They are suitable and cost-effective for lower-pressure applications such as economisers, water walls at moderate pressures, and pre-heating circuits. IBR permits ERW tubes for defined pressure/temperature limits. Our ERW boiler tubes are supplied in carbon steel grades to ASTM A178, A214, BS 3059, and IS standards.
Superheater and reheater tubes operate at the highest temperatures in the boiler circuit, often 500°C to 700°C and above in supercritical units. We supply alloy steel superheater tubes in T9, T11, T22, and T91 grades, as well as stainless steel superheater tubes (TP304H, TP347H) for the highest temperature zones. T91 and T92 are now standard for advanced ultra-supercritical (A-USC) boilers operating above 620°C.
Economiser tubes recover heat from flue gases to pre-heat feedwater before it enters the steam drum. They typically operate at lower temperatures than superheater elements and are supplied in carbon steel grades SA210 A1, SA179, BS 3059 Gr.360 being the most common. We supply economiser tubes in seamless and ERW, with plain, finned, or bare surface as required.
Water wall tubes (also called membrane tubes) form the furnace walls and absorb radiant heat from the flame. Carbon steel SA210 C and SA192 are standard grades. We supply water wall tubes in plain and fin-welded membrane panel configurations for OEM boiler manufacturers.
BS 3059 Part 2 is a British standard for steel boiler and superheater tubes widely used in the UK, Middle East and South Asian markets. Grades 360 (low carbon), 440 (carbon-manganese) and 620 (low-alloy Cr-Mo) cover the full range from economiser to superheater service. Solitaire Overseas holds stock of BS 3059 Gr.360 and Gr.440 boiler tubes and can supply Gr.620 to order, with IBR certification where required.
IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950) is a mandatory certification for all boiler components used in India, including tubes for steam generation. IBR approved boiler tubes come with a test certificate issued by an IBR-authorised third-party inspecting agency confirming compliance with the relevant material, dimensional, and hydro-test requirements.
T91 (9Cr-1Mo-V) per ASME SA213 is now the standard alloy for supercritical and ultra-supercritical power boilers operating above 600°C. For the very highest temperature zones above 620°C, T92 (9Cr-0.5Mo-1.8W) or austenitic stainless grades (TP347HFG, Super 304H) are used.
Both are seamless cold-drawn carbon steel boiler tubes. A179 covers general heat-exchanger and condenser tubing with slightly lower carbon (max 0.06% C). A192 is specifically for high-pressure steam service with minimum tensile strength of 325 MPa. A192 requires a tighter hydrostatic test.
We supply EN 10204 Type 3.1 Mill Test Certificates as standard. Type 3.2 (countersigned by an independent party) is available for major projects. IBR Form III-C certificates are provided for all IBR supplies. We accept TPI by SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV, or Lloyds.
Yes. We supply U-bend tubes for heat exchangers and boilers in all material grades. U-bends are fabricated to your specified bend radius, leg length, and tangent length, then heat-treated (solution annealed where required) and tested before dispatch.
We supply from 50 kg for stocked grades and standard sizes, making us suitable for both maintenance replacements and large project orders. For custom grades, sizes, or specifications, minimum order quantities may apply. Contact us for details.
