Stainless Steel 304L Flanges

Stainless Steel 304L Flanges Manufacturer and Supplier in India

Stainless Steel 304L Flanges are low carbon grade stainless steel pipe fittings, which are used to join pipe, valves, pump and other industrial pipe equipment. They are made from ASTM A182 F304L material, which has a 18-20% chromium and 8-12% nickel, giving it excellent corrosion resistance and a long a service life. A low amount of carbon is found in 304L which improves its weldability and avoids corrosion in the weld zone. It comes in various forms including Weld Neck, Slip On, Blind, Socket Weld, and Threaded Flanges and has a number of uses. The Stainless Steel 304L has a minimum tensile strength of 485 Mpa, and a yield strength of 205 Mpa, which makes it strong and durable in difficult conditions. These 304L flanges are easier to weld and resistant to intergranular corrosion as compared to ordinary 304 flanges. Solitaire Overseas offers top-quality flange products in accordance with international standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Stainless Steel 304L Flanges are low-carbon stainless steel flanges used to connect pipes, valves, and equipment in piping systems while offering good corrosion resistance.

The main difference is carbon content. SS 304L has a lower carbon content than SS 304, which improves weldability and reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion.

304L is preferred for welding because its low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation and helps maintain corrosion resistance after welding.

Yes, Stainless Steel 304L Flanges provide excellent resistance to corrosion in many industrial and atmospheric environments.

SS 304L Flanges are widely used in chemical processing, food processing, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, and oil and gas industries.

Yes, SS 304L Flanges are commonly used in chemical processing plants due to their good corrosion resistance and ease of fabrication.
