Solitaire Overseas is a leading Inconel 601 Flanges manufacturer, supplier and exporter with its base in Mumbai, India. Our ASTM B564 Inconel 601 Flanges — also referred to as Alloy 601 Flanges (UNS N06601 / Werkstoff Nr. 2.4851) — are precision-forged using certified raw material and produced with close attention to quality standards, to conform to international piping standards.
Inconel 601 is a nickel-chromium alloy that is highly resistant to oxidation, scaling and carburization, up to a temperature of 1260 °C (2300 °F). The nickel content (58–63%) and additions of aluminium create a very adhesive oxide scale which does not spall out even with repeated heating and cooling, so that our Alloy 601 Flanges are many times better than traditional stainless-steel flanges in high-temperature service.
Our UNS N06601 Flanges can be used with a wide range of conditions such as mild atmospheric conditions and sea water as well as in aggressive oxidizing and reducing media. The natural tendency of the alloy to withstand chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking as well as pitting contributes to its applicability in strenuous offshore as well as chemical-process environments.
We provide Inconel 601 Pipe Flanges in all standard forms and designs and made to the specific dimensional needs of our clients, supplied with optional delivery on a global level along with extensive documentation including Mill Test Certificates, material test reports and third-party inspection.

The high nickel and chromium content of UNS N06601 underpins its outstanding oxidation and scaling resistance. The aluminium addition (1.0–1.7%) is the defining feature that gives Alloy 601 Flanges their superior oxidation and scaling resistance versus other nickel alloys. These composition limits govern the Alloy 601 Flanges we supply.

* Al (Aluminium) content 1.0–1.7% is the defining differentiator of Inconel 601 from Alloy 600. It forms a tightly adherent Al₂O₃ surface scale responsible for the alloy’s exceptional oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1260 °C. Source: ASTM B564 / AMS 5715.

Contact Us & Get QuoteInconel 601 (UNS N06601) is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy optimised for oxidation and scaling resistance at temperatures up to 1260 °C, making it ideal for furnace and heat-treating applications. Inconel 625 (UNS N06625) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with superior strength, fatigue resistance, and seawater corrosion resistance, preferred in offshore and high-pressure piping. The choice depends on service temperature, pressure, and corrosion environment.
The material standard is ASTM B564 / ASME SB564 (Nickel Alloy Forgings). Dimensions are governed by ANSI/ASME B16.5 (NPS ½″–24″), B16.47 Series A & B (NPS 26″–60″), B16.48 (Line Blanks), EN-1092, DIN, and BS4504/BS10. The marking standard follows MSS SP-25.

Inconel 601 Flanges are typically joined using GTAW (TIG welding) or GMAW (MIG welding) with matching Alloy 601 filler wire (ERNiCrFe-11). Preheat is generally not required; inter-pass temperature should be kept below 150 °C. Post-weld annealing at 1150–1175 °C improves corrosion resistance in aggressive media. Always consult the applicable welding procedure specification (WPS) and ensure the welder is qualified to ASME IX or equivalent standard.
