F24 answers the same question as F23 from a different direction. Where F23 uses tungsten to lift creep strength above P22, F24 uses vanadium with titanium and a small boron addition to reach the same place, more capable than 2.25Cr-1Mo but less demanding to fabricate than Grade 91. Both are uncommon. We supply F24 to order rather than from stock.

Supplied as forged fittings to ASME B16.11, socket weld and threaded, 1/8 inch to 4 inch NPS, in pressure classes 2000 to 9000. Available as couplings, unions, plugs (https://www.solitaire-overseas.com/alloy-steel-plugs.html) and forged elbows and tees.
Made to order. This grade is not held in stock. Expect a lead time and a minimum quantity, and send the full specification with your enquiry so availability can be confirmed before you commit. EN 10204 3.1 certification is supplied as standard, with PMI and hardness testing on request.
F24 is a vanadium-titanium-boron bearing 2.25Cr grade developed largely for boiler service. It sits between P22 and P91, offering higher creep strength than 2.25Cr-1Mo while being less demanding to fabricate than Grade 91. It is specified mainly where a boiler licensor or project standard names it.
No. F24 is uncommon and generally made to order rather than held in stock. Send the full specification with your enquiry so availability, lead time and minimum quantity can be confirmed before you commit.
Both target the same gap between P22 and P91 from different directions. F23 uses a tungsten addition; F24 uses vanadium with titanium and boron. Both are uncommon and made to order, and the choice is normally dictated by the governing specification rather than by a free comparison.
Send your fitting type, size, end type, pressure class and the governing specification, and we will confirm whether the grade can be sourced, along with lead time and certification.
