Titanium Grade 2 is the most widely used commercially pure titanium grade, containing a minimum of 99.2% titanium. It offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, outstanding corrosion resistance in oxidising and mildly reducing environments, and superior weldability, making it the preferred choice for fabricated piping systems where alloyed grades such as Grade 5 would be over-specified.
