Nickel Alloy 200 (UNS N02200) is commercially pure wrought nickel with 99% minimum nickel content. Pipe fittings are manufactured per ASTM B366 and ASME SB366 with dimensions conforming to ASME/ANSI B16.9 and B16.28. It is approved for pressure vessel construction per ASME BPVC Section VIII Division 1.

Nickel 200 Pipe Fittings are used in chemical processing for caustic soda handling, food and pharmaceutical production, electronics and semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace for turbine components, marine for seawater-resistant piping, oil and gas in sour service environments, and nuclear power applications.

Nickel Alloy 200 is recommended for service below 315 degrees C (600 degrees F). Above this temperature prolonged exposure can cause graphitization leading to increased intergranular corrosion susceptibility. For temperatures above 315 degrees C, Nickel 201 with its lower carbon content of 0.02% maximum is the correct choice.

Nickel 200 Pipe Fittings offer excellent resistance to caustic alkalis including sodium hydroxide, dilute non-oxidizing acids, deaerated hydrochloric and sulfuric acids, neutral salts, and organic compounds. They are also resistant to anhydrous hydrofluoric acid and perform well in food-grade environments for product purity.
