ASTM A350 LF3 Flanges made of nickel alloy forged material used for piping systems which are to be used in extremely cold conditions. These flanges are fabricated to the ASTM A350/A350M Grade LF3 standard and are known to possess reliable impact toughness at temperatures as low as -101°C (-150°F) which helps reduce the possibility of brittle fracture upon sub-zero service. Its low level of nickel (approx. 3.5%) enhances the low-temperature toughness of material and contributes to its satisfactory performance in low-temperature and refrigerated applications. The flanges are supplied in various configurations including Weld Neck, Slip-On, Blind and Socket Weld and are used in LNG, Ammonia Plant, Air Separation Unit and Offshore installations. Solitaire Overseas is a trusted ASTM A350 LF3 Flanges Manufacturer & Supplier in India with quality assured products, complete material documentation etc. Request a Quote

ASTM A350 LF3 Flanges are forged steel flanges made from nickel-alloyed carbon steel, designed for piping systems operating at low temperatures.
ASTM A350 LF3 is used in LNG facilities, refrigerated ammonia plants, air separation units, cryogenic systems, and cold-region oil and gas installations.
LF3 contains approximately 3.5% nickel and offers better low-temperature toughness than LF2, making it suitable for more severe sub-zero service.
ASTM A350 LF3 is commonly impact tested at -101°C (-150°F) to verify its toughness at low temperatures.
Yes, ASTM A350 LF3 Flanges can be welded using qualified welding procedures appropriate for the material and service conditions.
Yes, they are suitable for selected cryogenic and sub-zero applications because of their enhanced low-temperature impact toughness.
