Stainless Steel 310 Fittings are Austenitic stainless steel fittings for high-temperature and corrosive service applications. This grade is recognized for its exceptional oxidation resistance to 1100°C in continuous service, and has higher strength than the conventional stainless steel grades. It has around 24-26% of chromium and 19-22% of nickel; this increases its ability to resist scaling, oxidation and thermal fatigue in aggressive industrial environments. Generally, the stainless steel 310 Fittings have a minimum tensile strength of 515MPa, a minimum yield strength of 205MPa and are well suited for challenging applications involving both high pressure and high temperature. These are typically produced to meet dimensional tolerances and performance reliability requirements specified by ASTM A403, ASME B16.9, MSS SP-43 and ASME B16.28.
