ASTM A350 LF1 Forged Fittings are used in small-bore pressure connections where the piping system could be subjected to moderate sub-zero temperatures. LF1 has a special impact resistance requirement at a temperature of −29°C (−20°F), whereas regular carbon steel fittings do not. The grade is covered by ASTM A350/A350M and ASME SA350, and is typically sized according to ASME B16.11 for forged fittings. It is designed for medium-low cold applications, not for deep cold applications. Solitaire Overseas Manufactures and Supplies ASTM A350 LF1 Forged Fittings in the required size and configuration in India, and material testing & documentation are available to support project-specific requirements and low-temperature pressure piping.

ASTM A350 LF1 Forged Fittings are carbon steel fittings designed for pressure piping with moderate low-temperature service.
They are used in oil and gas, petrochemical, process piping, and other pressure systems exposed to sub-zero temperatures.
The required Charpy impact test temperature is −29°C (−20°F).
LF2 generally provides higher strength and different low-temperature requirements than LF1, making it suitable for more demanding service conditions.
Yes. They can be welded using suitable welding procedures and proper preheating and post-weld controls.
